The Analysis Menu

In the Analysis Menu, there are the following submenus:

- Set Measurement Scale: when setting the Measurement scale, the ruler tool is automatically selected.

Default : This would make the Measurement scale back to 1 pixel length

Custom : If you want to custom the measurement scale (ruler scale), you can enter your own preferences here.

To Delete a preset that you have entered previously

Just choose the preset and press delete in the

Measurement Scale window.

- Select Data Points : data points are measured when you apply a measurement in Photoshop, data points are the information that are available in the measurement log (height, width, angel, diameter, ect)

Custom : here you can determine what are the things that should be measured and confirmed as data points. To know the Measured data points types and what they mean, please click here

-Record Measurement : (Shortcut = Shift+Ctrl+M) This opens the Measurement log palette -Ruler Tool -Count Tool

- Place Scale Marker : it displays the measurement scale applied in the document.

Length : the length of the scale marker.

Display Text: To show logical length with units to the scale marker

Text Position : To display the text below or above the scale marker.

Color : to change the scale marker color to black or white.
