If you want to change and specify your PDF settings, you have to go to the Menu-Bar>> Edit>>Adobe PDF presets. A poop-up menu called Adobe PDF presets will appear, this box is divided into three parts: The first part is called presets, and it contains the following options:
1. [High Quantity Print].
2. [PDF/x-1a:2001].
3. [PDF/x-3:2002].
4. [PDF/x-4:2007].
5. [Press Quality].
6. [Smallest File Size].
Note: Every time you click on one of these options, please view the changes that occur in the preset description box. The second part of the Adobe PDF presets box is called Preset Description in that box you will find an explanation of each option in the preset box. So that you�ll make sure that you�re choosing the right option to save your PDF file correctly.
The third and final part of the Adobe PDF presets box is the preset settings summary which gives you a summary of the following:
1. PDF preset.
2. Compatibility.
3. PDF/X standard.
4. Preserve Photoshop editing capabilities.
5. Embed page thumbnails.
6. Optimize for fast web view.
7. Down sample with.
8. Down sample to.
9. For images above.
