Swatches Palette

You can access the Swatches palette by going to window - swatches Now what does the Swatches Palette do? The swatches palette gives you the ability of making a set of colors that you most like, or most use, so that you can access them by simply clicking on one of them.

The Swatches palette has some options and we'll go through them now:

File:swatch39.gif At the bottom of the palette there are 2 icons, one for creating a new swatch, and one for deleting an existing swatch. When you click on the new swatch icon, Photoshop will copy the current foreground color and add it to your swatches.

-To save the current swatches that you have set, simply go to the icon on the top right of the swatch and click on it, a menu will appear,

In the menu, you can reset the swatch palette to go the default Photoshop palette. you can load Swatches that you have saved earlier and you can save the swatches palette that you are currently on.
