Foreground and Background colors

There are two color boxes that represent Foreground and Background colors for Photoshop You can find both at the bottom of the Tool Box palette.

The Foreground is the box at the left, while the background is the box at the right The default colors for them is black and white

You can always switch between both of them by the double headed arrow above them File:forean18.gif

You can always reset the background and foreground colors by clicking on the reset button above them too File:forean19.gif

You can change the color of either one of them by clicking on it's box, and that would open the color Picker box. Or by choosing

the eyedropper tool.

- The Background Color: The background color is the color that would appear when you use the background eraser, or a gradient fill sometimes

- The Foreground Color: It's the color that you paint, fill, draw, and write with.
