So, you have had a dedicated server for some time now, and your XEN domains are working fine, you have the disk, you have the ram, and you can make as many Virtual Servers as you want, the only thing you had shortage of was IP addresses.
So, simple enough, you call the data center up, and ask for extra IP addresses, The datacenter then allocates a /27 subnet to you (Around 30 ip addresses).
To begin with, what is a class C network, and what is /27 ?
/24 = Class C = 256 Address = Netmask = 255.255.255.0
/27 = 1/8 Class C = 30 Addresses = Netmask = 255.255.255.224
So, The datacebter allocates the IP addresses for you, But you edit your XEN cfg files and the Addresses do not work, They will surely not work, and that is normal
